Suit Up for Success Program

Suit Up for Success is designed to help low-income job seekers obtain work attire for interviews, program “graduates” receive professional clothing, and newfound self-esteem to make their job quest a success. Clients meet with a STEAC ‘personal shopper’ volunteer to assist in the clothing selection. On average, 70 percent of the program’s clients land a job. The beauty of the program is it can be self-funding through clothing donations.

Clothing Donations

To donate to this program, bring your gently used clothing to either store and ask that it be put on consignment for STEAC. Proceeds from the sale of the donated items fund a STEAC account which pays for clothing selected by Suit Up participants. Clothing can be for men or women, formal or informal, and must be clean, wrinkle-free and seasonal (winter only).

Knowing you can help someone find a job is a great incentive to clean out your closet, turning the task into a labor of love!
