The Woodland Food Closet was established in 1968 to help support residents with food and hygiene products. Today, neighbors in need can visit the Food Closet once a month and receive about 9 meals for each member of the family. Currently, the Woodland Food Closet also partners with the City of Woodland and as part of the CA Senate Bill 1383, local food vendors drop off food that would otherwise end in the landfill and this gets distributed to clients as well.
